My First $10,000 Month! Thank You SBI!

I cannot believe how exciting life has gotten since I bought my first SBI about three and a half years ago!
Before SBI, I was a struggling comedian/writer that had burned out on my day job. After a car accident, and some other health issues, my health deteriorated to the point of being told by my doctor and employer that I was too unhealthy to work.
I felt horrible. I was put on temporary disability by my doctor in order to take time to heal. Since the cost of living is so high in Los Angeles, and I needed help being cared for, I opted to live temporarily with my Mom in the Philippines until I got healthy.
I bought SBI (with the buy one extra for 100 special) with only $850 in my checking account, and $1,000 in debt on a credit card that I used to buy a laptop before I left the country. I was on my last two checks of disability when I took the plunge.
I figured since I was not healthy enough to return to work that SBI might give me some hope. I picked a positive topic that I could write about so that even if I never made a nickel, I could feel good about doing something positive. I just needed to feel useful in the world. And it paid off!
In the early days, I could barely sit up long enough to type for more than half an hour, but I kept working. Even though it may sound melodramatic, I think it made me heal faster--just to have something to feel good about. Not only did I feel better about me, I started making money. As a matter of fact, I never went back to work.
Instead, I stayed in the Philippines for seven months as my health continued to improve. After that, I lived on my sister's couch in LA for three months, and then got a very small apartment. After my first year, I started to make enough to eke out a living--$1200-1700 from my two sites. I made up for the remainder of my living expenses with credit cards.
My health was better, and I could work longer hours, but not too many hours in a row. When my lease was up on my apartment, I decided to get debt free and have some fun while doing it. (I got the idea from the Four Hour Work Week) So, I sold all my stuff, and went to Sydney (where the dollar was slightly stronger) and back to the Philippines to save money and record a comedy CD.
I got to perform stand-up in Sydney and had so much fun. I also got to record an album of comedy songs in a studio in the Philippines that has been a big hit now that I'm back in Los Angeles. I was even able to get an agent to rep me for colleges this year.
When I returned to Los Angeles this time, I was able to afford health insurance, get a nicer apartment, perform more stand-up comedy, be accepted as a member in a professional screenwriter's group, write a novel, take classes at the prestigious UCB theater, make a music video, AND keep working on my sites!
Christmas was a joy this year, because for the first time in 15 years, my whole family was all able to be together for the holiday. I helped pay for my Mom's ticket from the Philippines and was able to buy my own ticket to Florida so we could all be together at my brother's house. It felt so nice to buy presents that I know people wanted instead of just worrying about what I could afford.
I'll be honest. There were many lonely days. I was very scared. Some times I was so sad, I could not even work, but my sites kept growing and earning more and more. Last month, when I hit the $9,000 mark, I was over the moon. Imagine my surprise when I added up this month's revenues and found I'd hit $10,000!
I have seven SBI sites now. Three of them are earning well, and the other four are in various stages of development. I work on the

/url:2uznidgt with the bulk of my earnings coming from Adsense and Infolinks, and my affiliate programs are really starting to earn better now that I have more traffic. What put me over the top in December was actually the $450 dollars I earned in SBI affiliate commissions. Thanks to the 2-for-1 special, I sold two more sites and was able to qualify for all my renewal commissions.
It's been my dream to write, do stand-up and play music and now it's happening! I live it. I'm so excited about 2011.
Thank you, SBI!. Here's to a healthy and prosperous New Year for us all!
