How do I start blogging to create exposure for my business?

It may appear that blogging is over saturated. But entreprenuers are still asking, "how do I start blogging to create exposure for my small business"?

Yes, blogging is very saturated. However, the majority of bloggers have no idea what they're doing, which is good news for you.

If your goal is to introduce your business to the online community and you're serious about learning the correct and effective blogging guide than you can stand head and shoulders above the crowd.

Here's the simple truth - blogging is just NOT right for the majority of people who want to start a real e-business.

* You're missing all kinds of key tools.

* It takes too much of your time, under pressure.

* Your traffic will not last unless you keep blogging.

* You won't make as much money (several reasons for that).

* You'll still need to learn how to market your blog.

* You won't be building a deep relationship with your visitors and audience.

So now you're probably wondering...

"Why don't people just do it the right way the first time?" You know why?

Because people like "fast and easy." They want to think they can make money with as little effort as possible. It's just human nature I guess. Online marketers know this and aim thier adverts toward this greed element that most people seem to have. They are the one's who keep the dream alive, "bloggin for dollars" does work.

I do not recommend creating a sales blog. I've never seen sales blogs last more than a few months. You just can not attract readers to nothing but ads. What I do recommend is creating a blog with a continuous flow of new information for your readers.

What are some of the characteristics of blogs that appeal to the masses?

It's Easy To DoIt's all too easy, with all the "blog buzz" lately to think blogging is cheap and quick and will make them easy money fast. Someone has to tell 'em it ain't so.

You Can Get One Up FastYes, a blog goes up fast. With zero planning and research for the long term how long can it take.

Blogs Get Indexed FastYes, blogs get indexed fast. That is the nature of blogs. We see the same with Blog It! in Site Build It!.

Blogs Are Starting To Look Like "Real" SitesBut beauty is only skin deep. It's much more about "show me the money" than show me a pretty site.

Here's the sad truth about these beauties...after several days these same blogs are about as attractive as a 3-day old newspaper. Google and the search engines know this because nobody visits the "old" posts.

Compare that to a theme-based content site. There's a huge difference in terms of depth and Search Engine "friendliness."

SBI! sites are built on a foundation of stone, not sand. The Search Engines come back because they know there will be long-term, enduring value provided on an SBI! site.

"SBI! builds long-term, enduring businesses like no Blog can!"

There is a lot more that I want you to know and learn before you commit to building a blog. If you're truly serious about this then you need to review this comparison worksheet that lays out every important aspect of blogs versus a content rich site. Take a few minutes and you'll be able to answer the question "How do I start Blogging?"
