When I first started using article marketing to promote various products I took a while before I started seeing results. However, One of the first things I learned as I set out to become proficient with this technique was that consistency was the key to success.

Veterans of online marketing all stated that it was extremely critical to my success that I set a goal to write one article per day. At first I thought that this would be impossible. But as I started out I noticed something began to happen. One article led to an idea for another article and so on. Pretty soon I found that in the process of writing one article I would get an idea for another before I was finished.

Over time I learned to use various article submission sites to promote my articles. Using just one site would limit my exposure and wanted to maximize the results of my article marketing efforts. I even purhased an article submitter software to help save time.

In a short span of time I began to get referrals from more sites that I had anticipated as a results of webmasters using my articles for badly needed content on thier sites. The traffic they sent was very targeted traffic and easier to convert.
