| “How to Jump Higher” eBook hits $1 Million+ When you say “jump” to Jacob Hiller, he doesn’t say, “How high?” He says, “I can do it higher than you.” And then he offers to teach you how…for a small fee! In fact, he has sold over 1 million dollars worth of his eBook “The Jump Manual,” a guide to vertical jump training – or the art of jumping higher (think volleyball & basketball players). Through ClickBank, network affiliates have raised online eBook sales of “The Jump Manual” to the level of New York Times bestseller, garnering Hiller attention from the likes of ESPN, Men’s Health and Sports Illustrated. “I was the young kid who wanted to dunk just like most young boys and I never really grew out of it,” said Hiller. “I went from one thing to another that worked or didn’t work and developed my own theories on how to get high in the air, and I started training other people to do it.” Now Hiller advises affiliates learning how to sell eBooks online: Don’t always come across like you’re trying to sell something. And just as importantly: “Find something you are so passionate about, that you know can help somebody.” Hiller started to preach his own passion with a somewhat slipshod YouTube video in which he propped up a mattress covered in a green sheet as a backdrop and then gave some very basic advice about how to jump higher. “I turned on the webcam and said, ‘Here’s what I did. Here’s one tip for you.’ I didn’t have a master plan. I had one tip to give and then the next week I gave another one,” Hiller explained. But the videos got such broad response Hiller knew he had to follow up with a website and an eBook. He designed what he describes as a “very ugly” website and wrote “The Jump Manual,” a 10-chapter, 80-page book of tips and information on vertical jumping, including instructional video. Initially Hiller gave “The Jump Manual” away for free until the testimonials began rolling in. Then he sold the eBook for $15, through PayPal, later establishing it on ClickBank. “When we put it on ClickBank, the affiliates were going crazy with it. Three to six months later we were making a few thousand dollars a month from the eBook.” Now “The Jump Manual” sells for $67 with the option of adding jump coaching services at $9 per month. Hiller figures he sells between 500 and 1,000 books per month, earning up to $75,000 monthly.
